S B central School, Kohansi, Varanasi established in the year 2003, is an educational institute with total commitment to quality and center of excellence in academic pursuits and is registered with Sita Singh Social welfare and Educational Trust. This is the part of our goal is to serve the humanity in the field of education. Several social workers joined our committee and started this public school with English medium from pre-nursery and proposed to add one class every year till it goes to class XII. Starting from the first day, our effort has been to develop this institution with the aim “Quality Education to each and every one in the society. ” plus boundless energy to gain credibility, quality and community recognition. Our vision is the growth of students in a productive environment to enhance and enrich their excellence in the desired field. The school is located in the natural environment, free from pollution and hustle-bustle of the town at Kohansi (near Gosainpur) on Varanasi-Azamgarh road exactly at 18 km from holy city Varanasi and at a distance of 13 km from Pandeypur crossing. Bus accommodation is also available for student and teachers coming from far places. For security purpose, the campus is fully equipped with CCTV cameras. We would like to thank those who wished for our institution in moving forward and spreading the light education. Previous year it has taken a giant leap by extending its standard up to class X and enabling the students to appear for their first CBSE examination, New Delhi. Now, the school fully supports CBSE pattern and in coming years the school will acquire its goal to bring the classes up to class XII. Today it is the best secondary institution providing its children with a well-stocked library, laboratory and computer facilities and above all healthy environment and guidance of well-qualified teachers to bring forth their talent. The school has a unique atmosphere of support and respect, which helps cultivate the ability and talent of our children. Students and teacher have created an open, friendly, flexible, yet rigorous approach to study. We prepare our students intellectually while developing a love of learning and sound judgment.
